MCN has posted some new spy photos of the 2010 Ducati Strada Aperta, the adventure tourer bike that will effectively replace the Multistrada and the older ST range in one swoop, undergoing off-road testing.


MCN argues that this proves that Ducati has the BMW R1200GS in it’s sights, but ducatinewstoday continues to believe that the bike is much more firmly oriented to the road like the KTM950SMT. For evidence just look at the very road biased tires on the machine in the photos. The disguise is very light suggesting this is very close to the bike that will be debuted at the EICMA show in Milan next month.
